We exist to make it easier to discover, support, and grow Black-owned businesses while strengthening the relationships that keep our community moving forward.
Founded by Shavon Copeland a 20-year business veteran, author, and proud University of Maryland alumna, Fir Noir was created with a clear mission: to foster economic stability in the Black community by building a trusted platform where opportunity circulates—and stays—within the culture. We believe the dollars we spend should return to the people who shape the economy, set global standards, and lead with innovation every day.
